Buentello Law
Your Personal Injury Team

We are a small personal injury firm helping people who have sustained injuries, large or small.  Located in San Antone, we are a family firm, representing clients who have been in collisions involving 18-Wheelers, motorcycles, uber, lyft or door dash drivers, boats; who have been in a workplace accident and do not have a workman's compensation claim; and those who have experienced an accident on a premises, such as a slip and fall on a wet floor without having been warned of the risk.

Mission

We established Buentello Law to serve individuals and families who have been injured and are not able to help themselves.

Let's face it - the personal injury field has earned a bad rap.  The general public sees lawyers as greedy, sees injured clients as liars, and believes the whole industry as a scam. As a lawyer, it is something I have believed until I experienced the life-changing  hardships injuries cause to the person, their family, and every part of life.

Injuries arising out of another’s negligence cause immediate and future physical and mental trauma, financial difficulties and devastating lifestyle challenges.

As a boutique personal injury firm, we are dedicated to the clients.  We have a built a network of extremely professional, top-of-the-line medical providers who are crucial to a client successfully healing and returning to life before their accident - to the best of their ability. We provide our services at a much lower fee than other law firms, giving more back to the client. Our team builds a relationship with every person who comes to us for help and, based on each case’s unique set of facts and available options, find solutions to each client’s goals.

Our Values

Guiding us as an internal compass, our values speak to who we are and who we strive to be.

Integrity and Honesty. Two characteristics that are the pillar of every law firm - each is an integral part of being trusted counsel. Because each case is different, we are committed to being upfront and honest about what is possible in your case.  Our firm adheres to a strict moral code, asking, “what’s best for the client?” to earn the trust clients put in us.

Pragmatic Practice. The range of personal injury results to clients is vast. We believe it is important to set realistic expectations from the beginning, because the million-dollar recoveries advertised on t.v. and radio are not available to most injured parties.  We avoid making false promises about unrealistic outcomes and instead promise to be up front about the facts.

Steadfast Dependability. When we say we are here to serve you, we mean it. You are more than just a number. While we strive to allow our team time off for themselves and their families, we are working days, nights, and weekends when necessary to ensure that your case is processed as timely as possible.

About Me.

I joined the Air Force at 18, where I trained as a Spanish Linguist and served with the National Security Agency for ten years.  I took evening classes at the law school during my last year of service, and I had my three sons often under my feet in class.  I graduated St. Mary’s law cum laude in 2015 and has practiced law ever since.

I am board certified in oil, gas and mineral law and am a member of the Texas Bar College. While I still practice in the oil, gas and real estate fields, I began practicing personal injury because it fulfills a purpose to serve that has been missing since separating from the military. Using my law degree to help individuals and families who have been injured and are unable to find treatment, support and other resources in the wake of tragedy is a role I take seriously.  I have also experienced how injuries impact life for the worse, having had two immediate family members suffer severe injuries.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, I have lived in San Antonio since 2004. My husband, Raul, has been in the personal injury field for 23 years and encouraged me to start this firm. We have a blended family of five children – Lily (a business major at UTSA), Marshall (a electrical engineering student at Texas Tech), Tristan (a landscape architecture student at Texas Tech), Ethan (a student at ACC) and Jacob Wyatt. We have a small farm and raise chickens, honey bees, and try to keep the garden alive, love traveling and enjoy new life experiences. We also love trying to master new recipes, especially outside over a fire.
